Since the first arrival of the President and members of EUROLAB in Croatia, will be a good opportunity to compare your laboratory, your achievements with the laboratories of the European Union, to establish the necessary contacts for further collaboration is very necessary.

Metrology 2011
The National Institute of Metrology, Standardization and Industrial Quality (Inmetro), the Brazilian Society of Metrology (SBM) and the International Measurement Confederation (IMEKO) are organizing the Metrology 2011, that is the largest metrology conference accomplished in Latin America. Metrology 2011 will take place in the Convention Centre of Praiamar Hotel, in the beautiful city of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, from 27 to 30 of September, 2011.
The Metrology 2011 is a global multi-event comprising an international measurement instruments exhibition and four international associated events in different areas of metrology and instrumentation: 18th IMEKO TC4 Symposium in Measurement of Electrical Quanitities; IX Semetro - 9th International Congress on Electrical Metrology; II CIMMEC - 2nd International Congress on Mechanical Metrology; and VI Brazilian Congress of Metrology.

Biomedical laboratory science plays an important role in the public and private health care system throughout the world, providing excellent clinical laboratory service for the wellbeing of patients. It is a great challenge to all biomedical scientists to further develop despite permanent changes (move along with constant changes) in medicine and public health areas and the constant threat of explosive increases in costs.
It is our primary common goal to develop the profession of biomedical scientists and to emphasize our role in the health care system. The 30th World Congress is a global event and hosts a large number of biomedical scientists, researchers, laboratory workers and business executives from around the world to discuss and share the latest knowledge in biomedical laboratory science. Furthermore the congress will strengthen co-operation between relevant organisations and built networks between colleagues, scientists and friends during this scientific gathering.
